This collection was born out of the love I have for fields of flowers.  With so many beautiful areas and farms in Ontario, I was inspired by four different places. 

The poppy field mini wool painting was inspired by the local McCrae House, the birthplace of John McCrae (1872-1918), doctor, soldier and author of “In Flanders Fields." The daisy field mini wool painting was inspired by my love of flowers and my mothers beautiful garden. The lavender field and sunflower mini wool paintings were inspired by the many lavender and sunflower fields  that I enjoy visiting every July and August.
