My commissions and originals are made uniquely by the accompaniment of Synesthesia and created entirely from wool and a singular needle.

Each artwork is created after I repurpose and restore it's antique window frame sourced from inns, farmhouses and churches across Ontario.

The piece is then professionally framed using Artglass AR 70, a premium anti-reflective glass used in museums and galleries across the world.

I believe in creating timeless art pieces that capture sentiments and fill walls with the beauty of nature.

For years, I have admired Gianna‘s artwork. She grew up on the street where I have lived for 25 years and is now an extraordinary, accomplished artist. I first saw her stunning poppy windows at the Guelph Civic Museum. I told myself that one day I absolutely had to have one of her creations.
When I was elected, I decided to personally purchase a piece of GEMmade Designs for my MP office.

What she has created is an extraordinary tribute to Guelph - it’s wildflowers, it’s warmth, its spirit. The frame was reclaimed from an old home on Dublin Street. Every flower here is native to Guelph. The bees are a nod to the Honeybee Research Centre at the University of Guelph and to Guelph’s designation as a bee city, the black capped chickadee is the city of Guelph's official bird. And of course it was framed at Guelph’s Barber Gallery.
